Scandal “Top of The Hour” Analysis – Meet Lauren Wellman (Fitz’s New Assistant)
Fitz has a new assistant named Lauren Wellman who is to keep Cyrus AND Mellie out of the Oval Office while he has his face to face meetings with Jake Ballard. It’s a tough job. Look at Lauren’s face. She’s team keeping her job and keeping her boss happy. She’s a graduate of the SSA Tom’s school of keeping Fitz happy! She’s the buffer between Cyrus and Mellie AND Fitz. Mellie’s using baby Teddy to get Fitz’s attention while Cyrus has new info on the latest scandal threatening the Grant administration. Cyrus just wants his friend back. It made for a great Scandal moment!
